God gives himself more fully to the soul that has advanced further in love, that is, whose will is more conformed to that of its Creator; so the soul that is wholly conformed and made like him is wholly united and transformed in God.

My being, as I see it and as I see myself in it, is a being that is nothing. By myself I am nothing and I have nothing from myself; at every moment I stand before nothingness and must receive being anew as a gift.

Remember that the Lord invites everyone. He is Truth itself, and his word cannot be doubted.

The Lord could not inspire impossible desires; despite my littleness, I can therefore aspire to holiness.

The soul must keep a constant desire to imitate Christ in all his actions, conforming itself to his examples, meditating on them so as to know how to imitate him and to act in everything as he would.

I know that I am sustained; in this lies my peace and security. It is not the conscious security of someone standing on firm ground by his own strength, but the gentle and blessed security of a child carried by a strong arm.

I will compare the Divinity to a clear diamond, far greater than the universe. Every action of ours is reflected in that diamond, for it contains all things, so that outside its vastness nothing exists.

I would like to be a missionary not only for a few years, but to have been one from the creation of the world and to remain one until the end of time.

I beg you to commend me often to the Lord God and to the great Virgin, so that I may become conformed to their Hearts.
